CONTEXT
WarmME was designed to solve for the Screaming-Barfies, the moment your toes are so cold on the mountain, you don’t know whether to scream or barf. Based on user interviews with 35 female skiers and hours of personal on-mountain experience, I designed a ski boot cover that conducts and retains heat. The carbon fiber exterior distributes warmth, while copper wire inside conducts heat across the boot surface. Aesthetics were a key usability factor, leading to future plans for licensing patterns from designers and artists.
